We measure how readers use Clive.ai so we can improve the book website and understand interest in Chapter 1.

What we measure

• Visits, page views, active reading time, scroll depth and Chapter 1 button clicks.
• The referring website, campaign labels, broad country and device or browser category.
• Random first-party browser and session identifiers. The browser identifier expires 30 days after the latest measured activity; the session identifier expires after 30 minutes without measured activity.

Analytics records are stored with this site. This analytics system does not store your name, email address, raw IP address, full browsing history or the contents of any email. It does not send analytics to advertising platforms.

Your choices

You can turn off analytics for this browser below. We also respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Turning off analytics removes the analytics identifier cookies from this browser and sets a preference cookie.

Records and access

Analytics reports are private to the site owner. Reports cover up to 90 days; older records are removed in batches when new activity arrives. This preference affects future collection and does not remove previously recorded anonymous identifiers from historical reports.

Chapter requests

Chapter buttons open your email app. Your email is only sent when you choose to send it. Button clicks do not confirm an email request or chapter delivery. Emails sent to vertical@clive.ai are handled separately from these website analytics.
